Talent Partner

2020 will forever be a famous year in the annuls of time and a number humanity will  never forget. After all, it’s the year we launched Blue Zebra! When the world stopped, we started, and we haven’t looked back ever since. 

Blue Zebra set up, deliver and embed in-house talent acquisition functions. We either work alongside existing HR/TA teams or we help business owners set up their recruitment functions from the bottom up. 

This could be one off projects in such areas as training, external partner analysis and employee engagement initiatives through to providing a full talent acquisition service with responsibility for recruiting people across all areas of our clients’ business – anywhere in the world! As such we operate as an extension to our clients existing teams and we are paid for our time only and never charge placement fees

We’re now looking for a superstar Talent Partner to join our Dazzle of zebras

Dedicated to one client, you will be part of a team, both here at Blue Zebra as well as within the client and operate fully as a member of their talent acquisition team with full access to internal stakeholders and systems.  This client are great to work with and we receive exceptional access to their business as a true partner.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking full ownership for your own live positions across all areas of the business, both in the UK and overseas
  • Managing all ad response and screening applicants to ensure they are suited and on brief ahead of recommendation to the Hiring Manager
  • Building exceptional relationships with the client across all areas of the business providing knowledgeable and considered advice
  • Proactively sourcing on key hard to fill roles 
  • With the support of a Talent Resourcer, build strong and diverse talent pools to key business divisions to improve time to hire
  • Full negotiation of offers and handling both client and candidate queries throughout the process
  • Full involvement in wider client initiatives around Talent Acquisition as and when required to deliver a service which adds true value and weight to existing efforts

What you’ll bring;

  • Experienced within either an internal Talent function or an Agency recruiter who is motivated by working closely with one client with all the increased autonomy this enables
  • Brilliant project management skills and able to provide true rigor to new ideas and business expansion plans from a hiring perspective
  • A global approach and a genuine interest in working within international markets
  • Exceptional admin skills and highly organised and capable of managing a variety of roles at any one time
  • A truly consultative approach with the focus on getting the best person who mirrors the values of the client
  • Outstanding client management skills and comfortable working with clients at all levels to offer the very best service (and they really are a great client to work with!)
  • A considered approach to the candidate journey with a motivation to ensure anyone applying to the company receives a great experience
  • The ability to remain in control and push back to clients with clear insight when required
  • A creative approach with a passion for trying new things

In addition to the above, we want you to be instrumental in the growth of Blue Zebra as we continue to grow and develop our offering.  As such, we welcome your ideas and fully support new and exciting initiatives as we look to grow.  We envisage this position being a real mix of home working, days with us in London and working directly from the clients offices near Oxford.  You will form part of a small client team headed by a Director. 

Talent Resourcer/Social Media Lead

Due to some recent client wins, we are now seeking a Talent Resourcer/Social Media Lead to support our teams across a range of clients.

Core responsibilities:

  • Proactively sourcing through LinkedIn and other means on key hard to fill roles, you will work across a range of briefs for differing clients to build considered and well nurtured talent pipelines.
  • Learn and develop your skills across differing sectors to provide our clients with exceptional market insight which opens up new paths for attraction
  • Fully map markets to build diverse pipelines for both immediate and longer term needs
  • Provide a fantastic and engaging service to potential candidates
  • Take ownership of the Blue Zebra social activity across LinkedIn to ensure we remain engaging and front of mind within our market

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional Excel skills with the ability to monitor and follow markets to ensure we’re engaging with the very best talent, both locally and internationally
  • Highly organised with a passion to provide a truly positive impact on hard to fill positions
  • An inquisitive mind and able to map competitor markets to provide true insight for our clients
  • A brilliant team player and constantly looking for new ways to improve our offering
  • A passion for Social Media and a true desire to promote Blue Zebra as we continue to grow and evolve

In addition to the above, we want you to be instrumental in the growth of Blue Zebra as we continue to grow and develop our offering. We envisage this position being a real mix of home working and some days working with the wider team in London. We are truly focused on getting the right person and are therefore able to offer flexibility within the role in terms of amended hours to suit your personal circumstances if required.
